WLB, exhibition modules

Foldable, modular, and sustainable. That is how we developed the across-the-board spatial design and the matching furniture for the exhibition "Aufbrüche - Abbrüche. 250 Years of Friedrich Hölderlin". An easy-to-assemble and dismantle set-up of walls and furniture was created for the 300 square meter plus space located in the new building of the state library. The furniture was made individually of recycled and reusable sheet material by the Danish textile manufacturer Kvadrat (Really). Flat packed and delivered, subsequently assembled directly on site with specially developed connectors, these objects present themselves as needed and functional; for instance, as writing tables, media modules, presentation furniture, and seating, that make a valuable contribution to resource-saving for exhibition design and at the same time ready for a travelling exhibition.
