As an established design practice, we combine aesthetic precision, technical sensitivity, and a spirit of experimentation to create enduring objects and spaces. Collaboratively, we develop visions and make them tangible.

Studying industrial design at renowned universities introduced Simon Busse to a demanding, internationally oriented environment. Subsequent experience in various design and architecture studios – including in Amsterdam and Barcelona – deepened his understanding of design processes and ultimately confirmed the step to establish his own studio in 2005.
Since then, the studio has developed projects ranging from industrial series products to custom furniture and curated spatial installations. The areas of work are diverse, as are the clients. These include security solutions and products for ABUS, work environments for de Sede, and exhibition formats for the state of Baden-Württemberg. At the USM Workhouse, experimental explorations of future work environments were conducted in collaboration with workshop participants. The studio’s work has received numerous awards and has been featured in international media such as Wallpaper, FAZ, Stylepark, Icon, and the Financial Times, as well as exhibited internationally.
Over the years, teaching has become another central focus. Since 2011, Simon Busse has shared his experience and methodological approaches in workshops, seminars, and consultations at international universities – including a guest professorship in industrial design at Hochschule Schwäbisch Gmünd and teaching engagements in Hangzhou, Barcelona, Graz, and Basel.
