Working closely with Creative Director Isa Glink, Juno and the Kvadrat team, a spatial installation was created to showcase Kvadrat Residential’s new ‘Three’ collection as part of ‘3daysofdesign’ in Copenhagen. The installation transforms the collection’s textiles into a sensory, spatial and sculptural experience, thereby expanding the traditional perception of textile design. An open landscape of anodised aluminium frames, arranged in the showroom at varying heights and sizes, forms a modular structure comprising windows, spaces and sightlines, within which the textiles can be experienced as three-dimensional elements. The installation combines material research, spatial composition and creative application to create an atmospheric overall experience, establishing a dialogue between architecture, object and surface.
